We Back
Daring Founders to

Build Generational Companies

“A generational company is a venture built with deep local cultural understanding, strong governance, and scalable systems – not for short-term profits, but to endure market cycles, uplift communities, and create sustainable economic growth long after its founders’ time.”

– D. N. Kwadwo Baah

What we do

We Build & Scale
Ventures That Matter

Build Africa Ventures (BAV) works with a select group of daring entrepreneurs and innovators to design, launch, and scale high-potential ventures across Africa. Through an intensive Pan-African accelerator program (BAV Labs), we work closely with founders to refine their business models, strengthen their operational foundations, and prepare their companies for growth and investment. At the end of the program, these ventures present their companies to a curated network of investors, partners, and ecosystem leaders during our venture Demo Day.

Our support does not end there. Build Africa Ventures continues to work alongside the founders we support – providing strategic mentorship, strategic partnerships, and access to a growing network that helps ventures scale and create lasting impact across Africa.

Program:

BAV Founder Launch Pad

The BAV Founder Launch Pad (BAV FLP) is an introductory venture-building program by Build Africa Ventures designed specifically for student entrepreneurs and aspiring founders. The program helps students - whether they have startup ideas, early-stage projects, or small side businesses - learn how real ventures are built from the ground up. Through practical workshops and mentorship, participants develop the fundamentals of venture creation, validate their ideas, and build early products, preparing them to progress into BAV Labs, the core accelerator where ventures are developed and scaled.

Accelerator:

BAV Labs

The BAV Labs Accelerator is the core venture-building program by Build Africa Ventures, where top student founders - graduates of the BAV FLP and other promising entrepreneurs with early-stage ventures - get the support and resources to build real, scalable companies. Over a focused three-month program, participants refine their products, implement business frameworks, achieve product market fit, and gain access to mentorship, advisory, and strategic guidance, as well as potential funding and investment opportunities. The program culminates in a Demo Day, where founders present their ventures to investors, partners, and the wider ecosystem, positioning them for growth and long-term impact.

Program:

MBA Execution Room

The MBA Execution Room is an exclusive, high-impact program by Build Africa Ventures, designed to give founders focused, actionable insights from top entrepreneurs. Named in honor of Moses B. Arthur, who inaugurated the program on February 21, 2026, the Execution Room provides a private, registration-only environment where leading entrepreneurs deliver targeted lessons on critical business topics such as sales, marketing, revenue models, and growth strategies. Unlike traditional talks, the program emphasizes deep, practical learning, equipping participants with knowledge and tools they can immediately apply to scale their ventures. Multiple sessions are held throughout the year, featuring different top entrepreneurs to ensure a diverse range of expertise and perspectives.
